Tape was founded in Stockholm in 1982 by Michael Hemmerlind, who remains the company’s President and driving force today. After 25 years in the business, Tape maintains a vital, creative and constantly evolving activity with the original objective intact: to offer a full range of services within communications, marketing and sales.
The client base has from the outset had a dynamic and varied composition in terms of industries and business segments. Noticeable clients include Hennes & Mauritz, The Moderate Party, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Ericsson, Mobira, Strand Hotel Stockholm, Skandiamäklarna, Projekthuset, City Stormarknad and many more.
Tape has a long-standing and stable client base within certain sectors, such as fashion, computers and technology. During the past 10 years the company has successfully completed assignments within the financial sector (Öhman Fondkommission and Stockholm Corporate Finance), the petroleum industry (Shell and the Swedish Petroleum Business Association), conferences (Congrex International and the Stockholm International Fairs) as well as government agencies such as the Stockholm Visitors Board, the Teacher Education Office and the National Board for Health and Welfare.
Having been true to its original business model until 1999, Tape added web production and design to its services. This has now evolved to such a degree that it equals the size of Tape’s original business - a very encouraging development.
